There will also be no signs of a message being unsent such as an unsend transcript. Once you’ve unsend a message, you can no longer restore it. Note that you cannot unsend multiple messages at once. There is no bulk unsend feature.
Unsent Messages Can Still Be Reported!
If you dig deeper into Instagram’s rules about how unsend works, there’s a clear notice there that if someone decides to report a chat or conversation, your unsent messages will still be included in that report provided that it is within 14 days after the message has been recalled. This means your unsent messages will not be completely taken off from Instagram’s database. You may have unsent it but it will still remain on the records for a certain period. There you have it! As already mentioned above, unsent messages will no longer become visible to you and to all the people included in the conversation.
